In just over two years City Library has received its one millionth visitor!
Would you believe of all our visitors, number 1,000,000 would be a fellow librarian, Carol Lomas-Fisher, who works at the Police Library?!

For being our one millionth visitor Carol receives a $100 gift voucher from CAE to use at a course of her choosing.

Carol loves City Library, which is why she keeps coming back, and here's what she had to say about the Library...

How long have you been a member of City Library?
Since July 2004.

What do you like most about City Library?
It's always buzzing, there are lots of different types of people, a great collection, nice friendly staff, internet access to renew and search the catalogue and great spaces to sit and read.

What do you normally do when you come to City Library?
Mainly borrow books.  I like the cafe, especially with a glass of white, and have been in the library while the piano is being played and that makes it even better.  It is always a treat to come here!
I tell all the people at work to come and I have a pile of your brochures at my desk!
