alt + S will skip the navigation menu at the top of each page and take you direct to the start of the page content.

alt + M will take you back to the menu at the top of the current page.

alt + C will shows the page that allows you to change the level of accessibility.

alt + E will press the enter link on a page.

alt + F will submit the form (pages that include forms only).

alt + 0 will show this page.

alt + 1 will return you to the Home page.

alt + 2 will show the what's on page.

alt + 8 will show the privacy statement page.

alt + 9 will show the feedback page.

 

The accesskeys above are intended to provide keyboard shortcuts to allows users with limited physical capabilities to navigate the library's website more easily. Unfortunately they are often reliant on your web browsing environment, namely:

  • functionality depends on the type of operating system you are using,
  • the attribute is only supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 and above, Netscape 6x and above and Mozilla based browsers,
  • with Windows-based systems the user has to press the 'Alt key' and the accesskey, and
  • with the Macintosh system the user has to press the 'Ctrl key' and the accesskey.
