Exhibiting @ City Library
City Library has a number of spaces available for artists to show their colours! They range from wall space in The Gallery @ City Library on Level 1, which is available as a hanging space and to project digital images, to display niches which are available for sculptural pieces or ephemera.
The Gallery @ City Library
The Gallery @ City library is a vibrant space in the heart of Melbourne. A modern open plan area, featuring polished floorboards and balcony views. The Gallery is available to exhibit contemporary works in all media. The area includes ottoman seating for library users - and has a comfortable ambience.
Facilities
17 metres of continuous wall display space (approximately 3 metres tall)
Fully adjustable track lighting with dimmers
Data points are available for digital works
Cost $1700 for 4 weeks exhibition space which includes 400 DL brochures, line listing in Art Almanac and promotion on the City Library and affiliate websites.
All prices are inclusive of GST. Prices as at January 2008.

All exhibitions are assessed by our Gallery Committee and include both invited and artist-submitted shows.
Display Niches
City library has 6 lockable display niches on the mezzanine and ground floor. The niches are approximately 50cm high, 30cm deep and 30cm wide.
